Virtual Fall Symposium

October 2020

Welcome to The Compassionate Care Hospice Society's Virtual Fall Symposium!

Kerry Ringness resides in Rocky Mountain House. She is a wife, mother of 3 grown children, professional clown and children’s performer. Kerry enjoys spending time with her friends and family and most of all, laughing. Kerry has created this video for us to share some helpful information about being able to laugh when you may feel like crying. Enjoy!

Laurie Wade is a Funeral Director from Rocky Funeral Home who has kindly prepared a video discussing grief and her personal experiences with it. She also outlines ways to support a loved one who has experienced loss, as well as, tips on how to navigate through the feelings that come along during your grief journey.

Shelley Anderson is a therapist who has been working with children and families in the Rocky Mountain house area for over 20 years in private practice. Shelley has made a video for us with information regarding the importance of sleep and tips on how to have a better and more restful sleep.

The Compassionate Care Hospice Society would like to give a very special thanks to our guest speakers who took the time in making these videos for us. Hope you enjoyed!
